Kaley neurologist says every time he sees her she continues to improve. He sees her ever 6 weeks or so. In my opinion, Kaley has been having the peaks and valleys like she used to, she is more consistently closer to her peaks which is good. She is definitely in the moment and can access long term memories pretty easily. Its her shorter term memories that need some work. Physically she is still struggling with standing up right and walking. Everyone except PT is of the opinion that Kaley needs to master standing before she can really work on walking. Go figure. I am not impressed with the PT department at Kaley’s nursing home. They appear to be motivated only by money and not what is best for the patient.
Funny how often that shows up in the medical field and life in general.
